SUNDAY MUDDY SUNDAY
there is no joy in mudville
the mighty casey grounded out to first
and the tigers were swept by the royals
to punch them out of first place for the first time
since may... playoff bound as the wild card
WHO'S GOT WILDCARD FEVER!!
last night after the tiger debacle
went to the Bohemian National Home
to see the incomparable Dan Kahn
played mostly songs from his new album
Daniel Kahn and the Painted Bird-- The Broken Tongue
a nice gathering a peoples partly orchestrated from Bangkok!
Ian Bonner, b. Patterson, a mystery girl named Jane, L. Chomsky (as i say)
also... fan of the game AAron Klassen fresh from standing room only
E. Broadway (dozing off) and the one armed Jakary (there's the one armer now!)
a terrific weekend... i came home from the concert and listened to Pireus (d kahn)
and cooked some delicious indian foods... alloi mak mak as Nojay now says!
saturday was nice as well... with the Closer running at 1515 Broadway i met up with
the esteemed mr. Rusty Mewha at Hj's after our shows (he's in Of Mice and Men)
had a strong time sharing our souls and examining our fears and laughing about the
old days at 3004 W. Grand Blvd... truly a den of iniquity which launched me into
my current homelife philosophy which has lasted for years now: No Roomates!!!!
much love to the old gang and for a season it was sublime, but am i ever glad to
have lived on my own for years now.... rambling rambling rambling...
