oh yeah, about that freedom festival

8 people got shot in front of the
joe louis fist... i prefer hanging
out in hart plaza without the crowds

it really is a nice waterfront when
it's just me and the homeless.

gotta get my bicycle fixed

i am reading a great commedia dell'arte
handbook by John Rudlin.
i'll be playing il capitano this august
in ann arbor

nothing free about the freedom festival

my city is being invaded on account of
the detroit/windsor freedom festival
fireworks... thousands of people who
never come to the city are jamming
downtown and creating mayhem. maybe
i'm just cynical but i never went in
for fireworks or parades. soon the city
will reach gridlock... just as if it were
a real bustling downtown.

Sausage

it is the 17th of june...

spent some time at my
'summer home' in st. clair shores. grilled knackwurst drank beer and watched mobsters on television. all and all quite enjoyable. have been trying to write lately... i guess this can be thereputic so i can get back to writing poetry and the play i am in the midst of writing...

if anyone is out there reading this i guess i'll start out by saying
i'm a thirty-one year old actor living in detroit. i exist on that and a meager day job thing. i do all right on stage but it doesn't produce much bacon. if i could be anything in the world i'd have to say that i'd like to be a spanish poet but i don't really know the language. well, i'll vent a little more on paper so i'll sign off for now
