a hilarious quote from a purple checked bedecked don cherry last night on hockey night in canada. and what a glorious night!!!
the Edmonton hockey Oilers (as travis would say) defeated the Detroit (Goliath) Redwings!!!
the oilers remain perfect in playoff history with this menace of a detroit team!!
fernando pisani and ales hemsky leading the way with two goals each!

watched the game last night with huff, the roadys and Patrick "white heat" Moltane!!
all rooting for the wings

will soon be delivering some non sports edification... but at the moment i'm too wrapped up in
hockey... really takes me back to my formative years of edmonton obsession.
i'll have to go read some marquez or neruda to replenish the real beauty of life which has been replaced by this temporary euphoria!!
